Via het dirigentje kan via de knop Voeg kaartlocatie toe een kaartlocatie worden vastgelegd. Wel moet in het zaaktype hiervoor worden aangegeven dat de kaartlocatie getoond mag worden.
Through the dirigentje, a kaartlocatie can be recorded through the button Voeg kaartlocatie toe. It does have to be stated for this in the case type (zaaktype) that the kaartlocatie may be shown.
In scherm1345 Toevoegen kaartlocatie wordt in het zoekveld het adres geplaatst. Het zoekadres kan als volgt opgegeven worden, via opgave van postcode+huisnummer combinatie of met (opt.)straat +(opt)huisnummer+(opt)plaats kan de locatie bepaald worden. Via Enter of een klik op het vergrootglas wordt de locatie getoond op de kaart. Ook het veld Toelichting kan gevuld worden met een toelichting op de locatie.

Vanuit scherm1169 object kenmerken kan via het dirigentje de knop Voeg kaartlocatie toe een kaartlocatie worden vastgelegd. Wel moet in de registratie hiervoor worden aangegeven dat dat de kaartlocatie getoond mag worden.

Geografisch vlakA geographical area
Het is ook mogelijk een geografisch vlak te tekenen. Bij het tekenen van een vlak kun je via in- of uitzoomen en slepen de gewenste plek vinden, je kunt hierbij ook eerst zoeken op adres of postcode.
It is also possible to draw a geographical area. When drawing an area you can find the spot you want by zooming in or out and dragging; you can also search on address or postcode first.
Als je het te markeren vlak volledig in beeld hebt klik je op het vormicoontje. Vervolgens plaats je de muis pointer op de plek waar je met het tekenen van het vlak wilt beginnen. Klik 1 x op de linker muisknop en sleep de muis naar de plek waar de 1e hoek moet komen. Hierbij wordt een getekende lijn getoond. Klik weer op linker muisknop en sleep de muis naar de plek waar de 2e hoek moet komen. Maak op deze wijze een vlak. Indien de lijnen een vlak vormen wordt automatisch het vlak aangemaakt. Indien je bij 2 of meer reeds gemaakte lijnen klikt op het handje (stopt het tekenen) maakt de kaartfunctionaliteit zelf het vlak compleet.
Once you have the area to be marked fully in view, you click the shape icon. Then you place the mouse pointer at the spot where you want to start drawing the area. Click the left mouse button once and drag the mouse to the spot where the 1st corner has to come. A drawn line is shown while you do this. Click the left mouse button again and drag the mouse to the spot where the 2nd corner has to come. Make an area in this way. If the lines form an area, the area is created automatically. If, with 2 or more lines already made, you click the little hand (which stops the drawing), the map functionality completes the area itself.
Met de groene knop ✓ Voeg kaartlocatie toe kan het vlak worden vastgelegd en met de grijze knop x Annuleer kan het toevoegen van ingegeven kaartlocatie worden geannuleerd.

Zowel de GEO-punten als de GEO-vlakken worden weggeschreven / bewaard als lat/lon en RijksDriehoekcoördinaten (afgekort RD-coördinaten) ten behoeve van de Geometrie. De RD-coördinaten worden enkel gevuld indien het een Nederlandse kaartlocatie betreft. In het buitenland blijven de RD-kolommen leeg. De kaartlocatiepunten worden echter wel op het kaartje getoond op basis van de lat-/lon coördinaten.
Both the GEO points and the GEO areas are written away / kept as lat/lon and RijksDriehoek coordinates (RD coordinates for short) for the purposes of the Geometrie. The RD coordinates are only filled if it is a Dutch kaartlocatie. Abroad, the RD columns stay empty. The kaartlocatie points are however shown on the little map on the basis of the lat/lon coordinates.
