Een categorie is de overkoepelende entiteit waarin de verschillende product Reserveringen kunnen worden gemaakt. De categorie heeft een (aantal) productgroep(en), welke weer producten onder zich hebben. In dit segment gaan we in op het configureren van de overkoepelende categorie.
A category is the overarching entity within which the reservations for the various products can be made. The category has one (or a number of) product group(s), which in turn have products under them. In this segment we go into configuring the overarching category.
We beginnen in scherm1292: Beheren Categorieën (functioneel beheer > Beheren reserveringen). Hier wordt een overzicht getoond van alle bestaande categorieën en kan via de actieknop rechtsboven een nieuwe categorie worden toegevoegd.

Via Voeg categorie toe wordt het configuratiescherm voor de nieuwe categorie aangeroepen.
Through Voeg categorie toe the configuration screen for the new category is called up.

Wanneer geklikt wordt op Voeg categorie toe wordt de categorie aan het overzicht toegevoegd en kan deze worden uitgebreid met productgroepen, producten en capaciteiten.
When Voeg categorie toe is clicked, the category is added to the overview and can be extended with product groups, products and capacities.
Vanuit het beheerscherm van een categorie zijn alle elementen hiervan in te stellen, nieuwe productgroepen toe te voegen, rechten toe te delen en capaciteiten beschikbaar te stellen aan deze categorie.
From a category's management screen, all of its elements can be set, new product groups added, rights allocated and capacities made available to this category.
